Winner of the 2009 Videomaker camera of the year award, this video camera is both easy-to-use and full featured for a wide variety of shooting situations. Over 40gig SD memory cards are included for hours of shooting in one of many High Definition modes. The AG-HMC40PJ supports 24P shooting for a great cinematic effect in HD. This video camera works great in full auto mode, but offers a wide range of manual controls for the more advanced user.
This camera is a prosumer camera and the AVCHD format works best with professional editing software such as Premier Pro and Final Cut Pro. iMovie 08 and higher also support the format. See the documentation tab below for a more thorough list of editing software options for this video format.
