Next week the Avista team will start to wrap up one of our most successful corporate and nonprofit meeting & event seasons ever, just in time for Thanksgiving. Usually slowing down around November 1st, the audio visual production calendar has been extending out toward Thanksgiving the past few years, just like the Spring season has reached past Memorial day and now stretches into July. We thank our highly valuable clients for their business, and we'll take the next few weeks winding down, QC'ing our gear and checking inventory for any year-end capital purchases we want to make to add to our audio rental and projection rental inventories.
We don't rest very long though -- "It's the most wonderful time of the year" as the song (and incessant TV commercials) goes.
Avista, as you may well know, has a robust inventory of audio visual equipment rentals geared toward personal events and parties. While corporate and nonprofit meeting and events are the bulk of our business now, we are still do thousands of rentals a year to companies and individuals for parties. In fact, we're the largest karaoke rental company in California, if not the Western U.S.
So of course December and holiday parties give us a very BIG and busy month to this otherside of Avista.
