CASE STUDY - FURNITURE DESIGN CONFERENCE AT DOGPATCH STUDIOS
The Furniture Society held its annual 3-day conference at the Dogpatch Studios in San Francisco, CA 2 weeks ago. The conference brought together some of the top furniture builders in the country and internationally, for an exciting mix of showcases, education, commerce and community building.
While not a technically complex show from an audio visual standpoint, it had a large number of speakers, spread out over a general session and 2 breakout rooms. Avista brought in sound, projection, lighting, video IMAG to the event. The client was also working with a tight budget, and Avista was able to innovate and create an event that had a highly professional fit and finish, while at the same time meeting budgetary constraints.
Our engagement with the client began weeks before the event started, helping them collect and organize powerpoint and keynote presentations. We worked closely with their events team to ensure that presentations were organized in a way that didn’t require a lot of video technician oversight.
